Position Title: Supervisory Analyst

Department: Research

Location: Flexible

FLSA: Exempt

Position Summary: The primary responsibility of a Supervisory Analyst (SA) for the Research Department is to enable the process of uninterrupted and timely publication of a research. Role requires application of regulations (2241, Reg AC, etc.) and internal guidelines in approving or denying to be published research; SAs also lightly edit for context (valuation, industry-specific issues, etc.) when needed.

The evening SA may also review and approve/deny all internal and external emails to the sales force; review and approve/deny marketing presentations; and review and approve/deny requests for public appearances by analysts.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Series 7, 24 and 87 FINRA licenses or FINRA Series 16
  • Experience with financial services research and publishing
  • Experience with BlueMatrix desirable; will train the right candidate
  • Ability to work simultaneously on a variety of tasks
  • Ability to interact professionally and calmly with demanding individuals under stress and time constraints
  • Excellent communications skills, including writing and editing (as necessary)
